Morgado Golf & Country Club

Morgado do Reguengo Golf Academy offers its visitors one of the best and most complete facilities of the country for training and improving on different aspects of playing golf. The Academy is distinguished not only for the quality of the maintenance of its various areas but also due to the natural and unique surroundings that characterise Morgado do Reguengo. Here, the concepts of nature and serenity are not merely an adjective but a reality, enabling golfers to train peacefully thanks to the size of the different zones.

The Academy is versatile in its resources, meeting the needs of both beginners new to the game of golf as well as elite or professional players. Morgado's training zones have already received amateur golfers competing at the highest level and professionals, from lower brackets to the European Tour level.

Tees

There are two tees on natural grass, each with capacity for 45 practice stations. One of these tees also includes 5 artificial turf mats, which assure training even in adverse weather conditions. The size of these spaces, both in length and width, assures that even in situations of intensive use the golfer will find a turf mat in perfect condition.

Chipping Greens

The Academy offers two chipping greens, situated close to each of the practice tees. These areas also include practice bunkers, enabling simulation of the most diverse situations of movement towards the green.

Putting Greens

There is a putting green next to each practice tee, plus a putting practice zone close to the tee of hole 1 of Álamos Golf Course.

Target Greens

In between the two practice tees there are 10 target greens, allowing for precision training to a wide variety of different distances. This zone also has signs with the distances, at 50 metre intervals.

Warm up Areas

In the practice area, close to the Clubhouse there are two warm-up zones for short game, each one with two target flags.

Practice Par-3 Hole

A practice par-3 hole with 3 putting greens is installed in between the practice tees and the orange orchard. With distances of 80, 120 and 160 metres, this structure enables training in an authentic golf hole.
